JESSICA KUILAN, LCSW-QS

Jessica Kuilan is a Hispanic/Latinx therapist from Miami, FL of Salvadoran descent. Currently, her practice is located in Jacksonville, FL, but she is licensed to provide therapy throughout Florida. She believes that a client is more likely to succeed in therapy if the therapist is accessible to the client and that is why her telehealth platform is designed with the client in mind.

In 2009, she began working for the 11th Judicial Circuit working within the felony and misdemeanor division.  She later worked providing therapeutic services and resources to high risk pregnant women and women experiencing infant loss.  In 2013, Jessica began working with the Department of Children and Families in Dependency Court and later moved to a different sector within the foster care system.  Jessica has experience working with severely emotionally disabled children, children that have experienced abuse and neglect, as well as adults with substance abuse, domestic violence and anger management issues.

Coupled with her earlier experience, Jessica has provided court reports and testimony when necessary on behalf of her clients. 

Jessica’s most recent experience is with the geriatric population and individuals with chronic disorders and disabilities, etc. Her level of expertise spans across a wide spectrum from which she can gather knowledge to work with any type of client.  

Jessica has always been a strong advocate of ethics and justice and upholds these beliefs when working with her clients. She is resourceful and will do what it takes to make sure that her clients receive the services that they so rightfully deserve.  As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Jessica is always working toward furthering her education in order to better assist her clients.
